What To's & What Not To's -- Do's & Don'ts... --- Wear older, comfortable, but not baggy, 100% cotton clothing.
- long pants (blue jeans are good) or shorts are fine
- tops can be long sleeve or short, without buttons is best (t-shirt/pullovers work well)
- if short sleeve top is your choice, bring a pair of (white) knee-type socks with the highest cotton content (usually 85%) you can find--- Wear older sneakers, work boots, or any other rubber-soled shoes. Socks are highly recommended.... Absolutely NO open toe shoes or sandals!
--- Do NOT wear belts or suspenders with any metal buckles or embellishments.
--- Do NOT wear any watches, bracelets or any other type of jewelry, save something simple such as a wedding band.
--- Do NOT wear contact lenses.
Regular eye glasses work well. If you wear glasses, most highly recommended is a pair of clip-on/flip-up sunglasses with your regular glasses. If you do not need corrective eye glasses, bring a pair of regular sunglasses (100% UV blockers) with a sunglass leash.--- Long hair should be tied back/up securely. Cotton hats/bandanas/nets are fine,,,hair spray is NOT!
Head/sweat band is optional but very helpful.
A dental guard/cap may be helpful, but not mandatory.--- Do bring water (1 gal. +/-) for drinking/rehydration.
--- If you must have a cel phone or other personal communication device with you, turn it OFF while you are here.
--- Cameras are fine,,,,,flashes are not.
--- Smoking is prohibited!
